Eva gaming community
| The Eva gaming community is
just that, a community of gamers. We play various games
like counterstrike or Day of defeat. But what makes us
different from other clans is that as well as having a
team that play clan wars we also recruit members to be
part of a community so we can play in public servers together
and have a laugh. Many people love to play online FPS
games but do not have the time to commit to a clanbecause
the time and effort a clan demand. Eva, a clan that's
been around for over six years understands that the best
thing about playing online is doing it with your friends
and people you know. So to clarify as a member of the
community you will not be required to play any clan matches,
but we will have small elite teams that represent the
entire clan. If you are interested in joining one of our

About Eva-Clan
| Eva-Clan is a team of people
that play multiplier games, on-line and at lan venues.
This involves playing clan matches aguainst other clans.
An example, 2 teams of 5 connect to a server on the
Internet and then play the designated game & scenario,
Much like any other sport or game. |
How Eva-Clan started
| Eva-Clan started in the
Team Fortress Classic map 2Fort. There where 2 people
playing on that server that where dominating the rest,
one was named "M" aka "shag" and
the other was named "RockHound" They got talking
and decided to start a clan, which was relatively new
idea compared to the scale off gameing clans today.
So on the 15th of August 1999 Eva-Clan was born. |
How the Eva-Clan Name came to pass
| After the birth off the
clan the first order of business was to come up with
a clan name, "M" aka "shag" and
"RockHound" discussed this in length, coming
up with all sorts of weird and wonderful names. "M"
aka "shag" siting in his room looked around
for inspiration, and saw one of his Evangelion videos
and suggested this name to RockHound he liked it and
that was it decided. Evangelion was to be the name of
the clan and [EVA] there clan tag. Below there is some
information and pictures about the famous Japanese series
that this clan was named after. As the years have past
the Eva name evolved from a gameing team being named
after something to the name Eva representing and standing
for an elite team of gamers. We are no longer Evangelion
we are EVA Clan. |
